Participant Health and Eligibility:

  • Powerboat tours are designed for individuals in robust good health.
  • This trip is not recommended for individuals experiencing boat sickness, fear of speed or water, non-swimmers, disabled individuals, those with mobility problems, children under 2 years old, or any individuals who may encounter issues during a powerboat tour.

Safety and Program Flexibility:

  • Uncharted Escapes prioritizes safety with an outstanding track record. We respect prevailing conditions but prioritize the enjoyment and fun of our clients. 
  • Minor program changes may be made if necessary, such as in the case of unfavorable weather conditions, without prior notice.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:

  • Reservations must be made in advance, no later than 24 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations must adhere to our cancellation policy before departure to qualify for a refund.
  • In the event of later cancellations, no refunds will be issued by Uncharted Escapes.

  • Uncharted Escapes reserves the right to cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions, rough seas, safety concerns, or reasons beyond our control.

Balos Lagoon is a true gem and one of Greece’s most breathtaking destinations. Its unique beach, adorned with sea shells and surrounded by crystal-clear waters, invites you to swim in a setting so surreal, it feels like a dream. Departing from Chania harbor, we glide through secluded bays and arrive at Balos before the arrival of large ferries, ensuring a peaceful and serene experience in the stunning blue lagoon.

Next, we set sail for Gramvousa island, home to the impressive Venetian castle built in 1579. For those seeking adventure, an optional 20-minute walk leads to the castle’s highest point, offering panoramic views of Balos Lagoon and the surrounding landscape. You can also take a dip in the island’s pristine waters before we continue our journey.
