In the 18th century, the city’s aristocrats started to build the so-called « folies », elegant houses located in the countryside and surrounded by magnificent gardens, used as sumptuous summer houses by the gentry of the time.
Meet your guide at 2pm on the Esplanade de l’Europe and take off for a visit of 2 beautiful châteaux producing wines around Montpellier. You will get to know their story and taste their excellent range of wines. Back to Montpellier around 5.30pm.
