The next stop will be in Comillas, the only modernist town in Cantabria. You’ll be amazed by its rich heritage, including the majestic Palacio and the Capilla de Sobrellano, and the impressive Pontifical University. You’ll have free time to explore, shop, enjoy a good coffee, or even visit the Capricho de Gaudí (optional), a unique masterpiece that stands out with its vibrant shapes and colors. Our journey will continue to Santillana del Mar, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. Here, we’ll admire the remarkable architectural ensemble of mansions, towers, and palaces that tell the story of this town. We’ll make a stop to enjoy a well-deserved rest while having lunch (not included).
To perfectly end this enchanting day, we’ll head to the Altamira Museum, where you’ll discover the fascinating Neocave, an exact replica of the prehistoric paintings of the original cave, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
